Why are ALL comments displayed only in one language of the content?

Please help me. What kind of glitch do I have?

 To start, I am using Entity Translation for translating nodes (internalization is also installed).

 

Here’s the problem. When adding comments to the content, the comments do not display. And if they do display, it’s only in one language. Specifically, in the source language for translation. If I add comments in English, they still show up in Russian, and the English section remains empty. If English is the source for translation, then the comments appear on the English page.

 

The comment fields are shared across all translations. I tried changing them to ones that can be translated. I even tried the i18n_comments module, but it didn’t help.

 Where did I check the wrong box? Please advise if anyone knows.
