Quiz and Taxonomy

Hello,

I can’t figure out how to link taxonomy to Quiz questions to use "Random questions by categories." I've been searching for two days and haven’t found a single instruction.

I selected the category from vocabularies in the "edit questions" section. I assume I need to add a taxonomy field to the question content type, as is usually done when creating or editing a content type. But here these quiz questions don’t appear in the content types list where all types are shown, so editing like that is not possible. If I create my own question content type — how then do I handle questions and answers? I think that’s not the right way. Maybe I missed some module?
